Trump is going to jail

Last edited Tue Feb 6, 2024, 12:13 PM - Edit history (1)

There was a lot of speculation that the Washington D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals would not issue its ruling on the fat traitor's immunity claims until they could do so unanimously. That would make their call bulletproof should it go to the US Supreme Court. This decision here was 3-0. The string has begun to run out. Trump is going to jail.

No way in hell will any court give a president the right to murder people.

This is a ridiculous appeal that was never intended to be won in court. The intention of this appeal was delay, and it sure is working.

What will Trump's next appeal be, that Jack Smith needs to be removed because he is an alien from Mars?

Too much credit has been given to the courts because they simply ruled against frivolous, insane appeals.

We'd still have a ruling and quite possibly conviction by early fall, plenty of time before the election.

There are all kinds of loopholes and legal meanderings that need to be addressed and resolved in any case of this magnitude. That's why rulings often run into the hundreds of pages. Addressing all those issues can take some time.

This ain't Law and Order.

Just as Eugene Debs did a century ago. His only chance at evading his federal crimes to pardon himself, though I do think a GOP President would pardon him as well.

We keep hearing almost everyday how Trump is going down or is going to jail or is screwed.

Until it happens I will just wait.

Decisions rendered against him are all well and good. That being said his defense is and always has been to delay. The longer he delays and is allowed to delay then the more screwed up the coming election will become. This is the problem.

On a side but related note, J.D. Vance, idiot senator and ass remora for Trump from my stupid state of Ohio said he would not have acted as Pence did.

I just sent him an e-mail saying he should resign for that B.S.

We are democrats in Portage (deeeep red) county in Shalersville Township. We are too small to have our own zip code so we share one with Ravenna.

He took 44 part of the way. His route was 271 to 422 to 44 - and back. The drive spanned four counties - Lake, Cuyahoga, Geauga and Portage. It was not fun in the winter. The worst was when he drove all the way to school only to find out that they had just canceled classes and he had to go all the way back!!!

I have no doubt that that would make some people vote for Vance just like they will vote for one of the clown car candidates vying to run against Sherrod Brown.

Ohio has turned into Mississippi due to extreme gerrymandering.

Not a prosecutor or a political observer.

AND IMHO, worst case scenario for Trump is an ankle monitor in the residential wing of M-A-L after a conviction.

Force Trump to stay at Mar-a-Lago and wear an ankle monitor.

Remove ALL electronic devices from him. Limit his visitors with the same restrictions he’d have in a Federal prison. Isolate him.

If Trump is out of circulation, that would be good enough. I don’t want to hear from or about him anymore!

In my opinion...we have already had the ........'IMPOSSIBLE.".. That was Trump elected to be the ..."President of the United
States of America.
...& I believed deep in my heart that that would ...NEVER HAPPEN.....(and I wasn't the only one who
believed that.)
........History is full of the .....'IMPOSSIBLE."...............(that was NEVER SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN)....

You list the examples of ..."History fulfilling the IMPOSSIBLE.".................

It's far too optimistic to hope any of these legal setbacks mean he'll be tried, convicted and sent to prison before the election. Only after a resounding electoral loss this year will Trump finally be held to account. And even then I suspect he'll work out a deal to avoid prison.
