Palestinian American man stabbed leaving protest: 'Joe Biden, I blame you'

A Palestinian American man was stabbed Sunday while leaving a cease-fire protest in Austin, authorities say, the latest in a spate of violent attacks against Muslims in the U.S. during the Israel-Hamas war.

The 23-year-old man, Zacharia Doar, underwent surgery Monday and is expected to recover, according to the Council of American Islamic Relations.

According to CAIR spokesperson Edward Ahmed Mitchell, a group of four demonstrators were leaving the protest in a car when the assailant, who was also driving a car, allegedly spotted a keffiyeh hanging from their window. He then got out of his car and approached the group, uttering racial epithets, including the n-word.

---

And he shared a message from his son: “Mr. President, Mr. Joe Biden, I blame you. I blame you for what happened to me. If you would have called for a cease-fire three months ago, this would have never happened.”

Because Biden can't order Israel to stop actions against Hamas, anything bad is Biden's fault?

I find it interesting that so many people think that President Biden has a magic wand that will allow him to unilaterally set policy for another sovereign nation *and* a terrorist organization.

He can certainly put pressure on said sovereign nation, as his admin has quite clearly been doing, both publicly and through private discussions with Israel, but in the end, the decision to proceed lies with the Israeli government.

As for Hamas, if people think that they're going to let President Biden unilaterally make decisions for them, they're dreaming.

So it's your own fault. Blaming others makes you feel better then blaming yourself

But blaming Biden is just plain stupid.

The young man made the decision to attend the protest in a state rife with bigotry and hate of anyone considered an 'other.' The lion's share of blame, however, belongs to the attacker. Glad the attacker was caught.

the world was better off before the msm made every minute of every day into a play by play ballgame. The anger and violence surrounding these political protests are going to happen… its the nature of the beast. But let’s make certain a reporter and photographer is there to exacerbate and flame the emotions.
