So it seems like the universal rule that all special counsels must be Rs

again pays dividends. Quote from Josh Marshall TPM.

I am so sick of our side always playing by the rules and beyond, and GETTING NO CREDIT FOR IT!!!!! That's almost the worst part.

he's the people's lawyer..and yes, he has to appear impartial (unlike that fatfuck Bill Barr.)..if he had appointed Democrats as Special Counsels shit would have hit the fan..Biden requested the report be released un-redacted and in its entirety...he knew what was coming down..why do you think the pushback was so fast and furious?...

like he did with Pence.
He could have appointed someone not who was not a Trumper.
And his appointment of Weiss went against longstanding DOJ policy.
He is trying so hard to look impartial he has appointed partisans.

I started an OP about Biden not retracting anything earlier so I'm well aware. Also I'm well aware that there would have been pushback to a Dem being appointed. That's kind of the point. But thanks again for your input.
