You have a choice of TWO. That's it. Two.
1. An 'elderly man, with good intentions, and a poor memory' (thanks for your unsolicited opinion, Hur), who has the final say over a cabinet of extremely smart, competent people; all of whom have GREAT memories. (And for anyone who doesn't, that's what PAPER is for.) And this elderly man, with good intentions leads a political party that is actually working to make things better for YOU.
or
2. A malicious, self-centered elderly man, who is absolutely bat-shit crazy; and who is hellbent on REVENGE, RETRIBUTION, and KLEPTOCRACY. He will have a cabinet full of his useless, dullard kids, a few Fox News hosts that he finds 'hot', and a bunch of psychotic, Batman-style villains who thought Orwell's 1984 was an instruction manual. And he leads a Jonestown style cult of crackpots, racists, misogynists, gun-crazies, and Russian assets, who will only work to make things better for billionaires, and Vladimir Putin. Oh yeah, and by the way, THE REPUBLIC WILL NOT SURVIVE HIM. After a year or two of these hellish goblins running things, we'll have a Putin style kleptocracy AT BEST, and a Kim style dictatorship at worst.
That's your choice. I wish you had a better one, but you don't. It's time to stop playing with toys ('third party' candidates), put on your adult clothes, and start worrying about the survival of the republic. Voting 'third party;' or staying home on election day will only help to elect Trump. If that's not what you want, then don't do either of those things.
Honestly, I'd like to smack anybody who says 'there is no difference' between the parties; and I'd like to shut down any 'news' organization that keeps covering this election as a standard 'horse race.'
(PS-a little note to the MSM. Does anybody remember what happened to CBS when they ran a 60 minutes episode on Ronald Reagan's poor memory? They pointed out that Reagan actually talked about MOVIES that he'd seen, as if they were real events. And they finished off by showing the clips of Reagan having a McConnell style brain fart, and Nancy bailing him out by whispering "we're doing everything we can." It actually BOOSTED his popularity, because it looked like the press was picking on everyone's favorite grad pa. )
REMEMBER THIS?

The other guy is a rich, vindictive asshole.
Easy choice.

(29,078 posts)That there are still plenty of people who can't tell the difference between parties is ... I can't think of a word strong enough to express how stupid it is.

(24 posts)They do not like him. They do not support him. They think he's a vile person.
These voters also probably are wary of Biden's age, fair or not.
And it's why they're seriously looking at third party candidates - or not even voting.
It's important we stress that voting third party or not voting is essentially voting Trump.
I don't think Biden's issue is losing votes to Trump. It's losing 'em to other third party candidates or just total apathy.
