1 page: report on Pence holding on to classified documents.

Biden's is a 300 page report. Were the cases that different?

"SNIP......

The Department of Justice closed a similar case against former Vice President Mike Pence on June 1, 2023, days before Pence announced his presidential bid, with a brief, one-page letter.

...I'd like to find that one-page Pence report to compare the two reports publicly.

I've been reserving my judgement on Garland until now, but I really do think this Biden report is on his shoulders. An official DOJ investigative report so blatantly bloated with personal attacks and partisan intent should never have been accepted from Hur by the DOJ, let alone released to the public as an official document.

1 page for Pence, but 300 pages for President Biden??? And throwing mud at Biden's competency???? Hur is a jerk, for submitting his own off collar comments about Biden's age, this got tRump written all over it, or is it Garland? I shouldn't assume but then again, the media is talking about Biden's age and fucking Orange slobfather there is no talk about him. This stuff gets me really angry.

I would describe it as holding more than Hur accountable.

You'll never convince me in a million years that Garland did not see that report before it was released.
He is the AG.
He bears some responsibility.

I'm not into playing political games on not calling someone out because he's supposed to be on our side.

Wrong is wrong.
He hurt our side when he should have sought some balance with the 1 page report for Pence.
He hurt it so badly, some folks are wondering whose side is he on.
There's a fair chance he has mortally wounded our candidate's chances.

That is in the wake of him sitting on his hands so long on these cases that we're now facing the possibility of Trump running out the clock.

That is on him too.

So no, I won't give him a pass.

I'd fire his ass.

Six pages with classified markings from Biden’s time as vice president were found by his attorneys in 2022 at his former DC office and his Delaware home. They were immediately handed over to the Justice Department. A week after Garland appointed a special counsel to investigate Biden’s handling of these classified documents, Pence asked an attorney to review four boxes of documents stored in his Indiana home. Pence's lawyer discovered about a dozen classified documents and these were turned over to the FBI.

It is perhaps a small distinction, but the media is reporting that "President Biden" mishandled classified documents, directly comparing it to Trump taking over 300 classified documents, some at the top secret level, when he left the presidency. And Trump's staff didn't discover these documents and willingly hand them over, he refused to return the documents even after numerous requests, and the FBI ultimately had to raid his home to retrieve them.
