"SNIP.........

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. publicly apologized to family members late last night after a super PAC supporting his presidential campaign aired a $7 million Super Bowl spot that appropriated a famed 1960 ad aired by uncle John F. Kennedy.

Said Kennedy: “Federal rules prohibit Superpacs from consulting with me or my staff. I send you and your family my sincerest apologies. God bless you.”

Applegrove:

$7 million Super pack money for a superbowl ad is so messed up. That money could get healthcare for over a thousand people with little means. Not even mentioning how it could skew election. Good thing many antivaccers are on the right since Covid.

making a pro Biden ad. I hope the Kennedy family makes a huge Biden ad. The apology might stop that from happening.

I saw that monstrosity of an ad but can’t recall if he approved the message, and I don’t care to see it again.

I take that to mean there was a wink somewhere in the planning.

It was a PAC funded add, he is not allowed to endorse their messages or coordinate their activities on his behalf in any way under federal election law.
