...is that it causes some random people to get irrationally upset by his age. It hasn't actually impacted his performance on the job one bit, and no one that actually works with him on a day-to-day basis or other allied world leaders have complained about it. Nope, just random people mad about his age.

It's unfortunate Stewart has thrown in with this crowd.

Oh well, I had looked forward to him returning, even though I missed his actual return tonight. From hearing how his first show went, I guess I'll continue to keep missing it.

He's always been a "where the trendy wind blows" guy.

Biden is older. He has 30 years on me and I'm not young, but he's also smart, accomplished and has dedicated his life to trying to be a decent human being who supports the needs of people like myself.

So, I say, so what he's not younger like Obama was? He's been getting amazing stuff done and that's with the nutty GOP opponents he's dealing with. He's a damn superhero compared to so many before him who had so much less insanity inspired opposition to try and navigate.

Oh, and he's not fucking Trump, who is also old but with an added side of pure evil selfish asshole, who wants to end our current democracy so he can escape his criminal charges.

*checks notes* Yep. I'm 100% positive I'm full throttle in the camp of the good guy in this fight and not the asshole out to just keep his criminal ass out of jail. No matter what some comedian might have said tonight. (Which I didn't pay to see.)

First I accepted him as a prime Lib.Then I was mystified when he knocked off Crossfire on CNN.
Then I was disturbed his making nice to O,'Reilly.
Then I was pissed his pandering to Glen Beckkk's come together rally in DC.
Is he 3rd Way?
Then more with the Jerry LEWIS preaching and scolding for his charity.
Now back, couldn't make it?
Not for me.

I've never really liked him though I can't remember what the issue I had with him was. I'm thinking it was because he took a lot of unnecessary digs at President Obama but I don't know. It was so long ago.

Needless to say, I won't be tuning in this go 'round either. It's unfortunate that he's using his powerful communication skills to bash President Biden.

You have to understand: he knows what he's doing. When he cares and is passionate about an issue, he will get out there and raise hell.

I guess for him it doesn't make a difference one way or the other. He'll be fine under a trump dictatorship or whatever the hell comes next.

...he's starting out by being appealing to 3rd party people and then speaking to them about what's really at stake here, something we here at DU don't do a lot of.

By getting them to watch him regularly and winning their attention, he'll have an opportunity to bring them over to Biden, and he did mention more than once that he's on a 9 month mission.

Yes, I will vote for Biden, obviously.

But our country is run by a demographic that is way more old, white, male, cisgendered, and heterosexual than the overall population. That should be troubling. Why is he wrong for saying it's a problem. They are both too old. Reagan was too old. It's OK to say it.

And, he made it very clear that Trump is worse than Biden. So, there's that.
