(71,555 posts)The election is looking like 20 not 22 when the GOP won...

(23,443 posts)It is updating pretty often and Suozzi is holding on to a 60 +/- lead overall

(24,435 posts)If Suozzi wins it will be forgotten tomorrow. If he loses it will be a massive story that they say spells doom for Dems.

(96,882 posts)A Suozzi election further reduces the Republican majority in Congress. That's newsworthy.

(17,500 posts)over the last few decades. The poster is correct.
If Suozzi wins, this will be forgotten in a day, and there will be ZERO discussion about how "troublesome" it looks for Donnie Sick Fuck
If Suozzi loses, there will be 24/7 coverage about what this portends for President Biden
It's a definite pattern.

(8,479 posts)Suozzi pulling in 78-80% in Bay Terrace means the Jewish vote stuck with him. He lost none of it, essentially. The same for Douglaston and to a lesser extent Little Neck. That he's even winning some south and west Whitestone precincts or splitting them pretty closely is shocking, to be honest. We'll see how the Nassau vote starts to come in, but that mid-Whitesone vote does not bode well for Pilip. It means the name rec stuck hard to Suozzi. They really didn't flip any of the Queens-side precincts they needed to, and even lost or underperformed in a few that they expected to win.
Lots of vote left to count.

(22,466 posts)STALL. DELAY. That's their trademark.
brooklynite
(96,882 posts)Election Boards in NY are bi-partisan. There's no opportunity for Republicans to "hold up" the vote, nor would that make a difference in the outcome.

(22,466 posts)There is a hell of a difference, that's for sure! Their only hope is DELAY STALL DELAY! Gonna see a lot of DIRTY SHIT from them for a year.

Your predictions were so far off the mark as to be laughable.
Get new contacts or think a bit more maybe? Dunno.
