There will be a Republican Primary in June. There will likely be a change in the District lines. Suozzi will run again in November as an incumbent.

(11,098 posts)I know nothing about NY, but my understanding of the last map Dems tried to pass (and was thrown out by the courts) is that even in a bad year, Dems would have dominated in the overall NY congressional delegation. Am I mistaken?

(11,098 posts)November appears like it may have the opposite effect regardless of lines. If we get a new map, I really cannot imagine Democrats not getting back all five (well four now) districts in November.
