Another thing the rotten pantload gets away with time after time -- his ridiculously poor grammar and spelling skills are never called out by the M$M. The fuckwad couldn't even pass a 4th-grade level spelling test I bet...

The signs are all there except for the close polls.

Incumbents with boomng economies are incredibly hard to defeat and the economy is in fact booming.

Any monthly Job's Report with a PLUS (+) in front of it means MORE jobs added as well as Unemployment level is dropping.

TSF and Republicans running on a BAD economy will have a lot of esplaining to do. (Doing my best Ricky Ricardo impression.)

It takes +120,000 job a monnth or so to keep up with population growth.

But the jobs numbers have smasked all records and the wage growth has been outstanding too. In most metrics, this is one of the best US economies in generations, but people still don't get that.

We had 3 years of economic news that was dominated by news of inflation, and often times there was no context given. Context such as the fact that wage growth has been higher thn inflation for a year, and that even when inflation was at its worst, wage growth was still cutting into much of its effects. And something many people don't know or even refuse to accept, is that even during the worst of inflation, wage growth for low wage earners was much higher than inflation throughout. It was a constant drumbeat that persists rtoday about how everything costs so much more, almost never adding that, people are making so much more they can afford it.

When inflation hit 9% for a month, all we heard about was that what costs $100 a year ago now costs $109!!! No one bothered to mention, yeah, but median incomes are up 7%, so although it's $109 for this, you now made $107 for the same amount of work. Not a great situation and I'm glad it was brief, but there was never any talk of real wages.

Real wages, that is the median income with all inflation factored in are higher right now than before covid. That is simply a fact, people are better off right now than they were in 2019 on average. That is what the data says. But people, even here on DU, have heard cries of inflation non stop for years, so they too are blinded to their own wage growth.

6. The online betting platforms as of today have Trump at +120 and Biden at +200. That

translated into percentages says Trump is at about 45% chance to win and Biden is at about 33% chance to win. If you believe Trump is going to get smoked you can easily triple your money (+200 means if you bet 100 and Biden wins you get 300).

11. Explain something else to me:

Feb 2024

1) If I took those odds today

2) Later the odds REALLY tighten to say 1.1 to 1...polls saying Bidens gonna win, etc

3) Biden wins

4) Whats my payout then? Is it still 3 to 1, like the day I made the bet? Or is it 1.1 to 1?

No signs, flags, banners like in 2016 and 2020. There's no great love for Biden here, to be fair, but the lack of zeal for TFG is striking. I know it's still early, but we'll see.
