Taylor Swift Donates $100K to Family of Woman Killed at Chiefs Victory Parade

https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-news/taylor-swift-donation-woman-killed-chiefs-victory-parade-1234969440/

Taylor Swift has contributed $100,000 to a GoFundMe page set up for the family of Lisa Lopez-Galvan, who was killed in a mass shooting at the Kansas City Chiefs’ victory parade earlier this week.

The Elizabeth Lopez-Galvan Memorial page was set up Thursday afternoon with a goal of raising $75,000 for the victim’s family. Early this morning, Swift pushed the total past its goal with two separate donations of $50,000. So far, more than 1,300 people have donated. Variety confirmed Swift’s donations are legitimate.

“Sending my deepest sympathies and condolences in the wake of your devastating loss,” the singer wrote on the page alongside her dual donations. “With love, Taylor Swift.”

Gangbangers having a private war and not caring about the collateral damage as bullets flew. We'll probably know soon since it seems that heroes in the crowd jumped and subdued at least one of the shooters.

And neither is anyone in her family.

Her parents were in finance until her mom stopped working after she had Taylor and her brother, and Taylor grew up in Pennsyltucky on a Christmas tree farm with horses. Then, started working in music when she was about 14/15.

She embodies what billionaires should do for the least among us. I am so happy that her parents raised her to be a wonderful and decent human being on this planet. I look forward to see the rest of what Taylor will bless us with and wonder how her life will be remembered. She's the embodiment of what we should all strive for...to help the afflicted and be generous with your heart and money.

I might even buy some of her music because this ole boomer has a girl crush on her.

This line in particular:

Will you take a moment?
Promise me this
That you'll stand by me forever
But if, God forbid, fate should step in
And force us into a goodbye
If you have children someday
When they point to the pictures
Please tell them my name

Her empathy seems to grow every day. I think that’s one of the reasons MAGAts hate her. She will be remembered.
