They fired him for stealing, then he stayed fired when it was clear nothing was stolen.
That manager is a snake & that cop is a punk.

And, the way he just accepted the cop would cover his butt was so entitled.
The guy is a shipping clerk. He acted like lord of the manor.

Out of sight? Then the guy that turned him in told the cop yep this is what we were looking for and even
answered the cop with a yea I checked the serial number, but the box was still taped shut. I believe
that guy was playing games to get the other one fired.

With the background noise outside I didn't catch what he was saying about the owners, anybody catch that?

Allegedly. The whole thing stinks of a setup. Like 10 mins later they "find" the missing package? And he says he already confirmed the serial number, but you see him have to cut open the taped up box? The officer doesn't even blink at that. And that rat fink officer was shaking the black employees hands about being so nice about everything, then goes in to talk to the manager and says despite them finding the package, he still tried to charge the black guy with having a THC pen? WTAF. I hope he takes that company and the police to the cleaners on this one.

Aside for living while black.

The insurance company for the cops should be forced to pay as well.

Situations like this should never happen but happen all the time, more often since the USA national hobbies turned to lack of empathy, grift, and scapegoating. The bigotry is part of the fabric of American life (that I find disgusting).

The frigging cops calmly colluded with the company and reporting party even after they knew this was a false accusation so the false complainers could avoid responsibility.

Tiring and sad.

"What's the game plan buddy" says the cop.

What the hell ia wrong with people?

And the employer needs to be investigated - why did the employee think it was his decision to call the police on a co-worker for presumed theft of the business's property?
