And that is an actual possibility - not a mere threat - it has happened and is still happening. When we had real journalism, we had it because newspapers and TV stations stood behind their journalists. And newspapers and TV retracted errors of fact and publicly apologized for them. I'm old enough to remember that - and the nostalgia is making me weep for our loss.
