Day would be nice shamrocks.

I am posting this site. Has all hoildays posted each month for 2024. Even if we fundraise every other month or two, DU Admins would be happy for funds. What do you guys think?? Plus I think everyone would like the gesture and a little love.

This year is the closest I've ever been to the hearts typewriter having to hit the return key and ring the bell.

For the kids; "a typewriter was a manual machine used to produce documents. It used ink ribbon and keys. When you pressed a key, a hammer with that keys letter would strike the ink ribbon and transpose that letter to paper in the spool. When you got to the end of the page of paper, a bell would ring, indicating that you needed to hit the return key to move to the next line. On older models, like the one I am currently looking at, there was a lever you pulled to return the carriage to the next line on the page."

Kick in to the DU tip jar?

This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.

As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
