If Trump gets re-elected we may enter into a Post Democracy America. We may have an actual Civil War. It will start with round-ups and detentions of immigrants. Once the Trump Regime has normalized rounding people up and putting them into camps, they will not stop at rounding up immigrants. They may also send the police and the military into cities to round up the homeless and also anyone that the Regime considers a dissident and a political opponent.

The MAGAs plan to activate the Insurrection Act on day one. So anyone that protests against the Regime, Black Lives Matter, Anti-Fascists, or anyone that opposes Trump and demonstrates, they can all be rounded up and put into detention camps. Those that resist may be shot. Political enemies of the Trump MAGA faction with be charged with treason and rounded up. Trump will gut the Justice Department and staff it with MAGA fascists who will be directed to arrest opponents of Trump, including journalists in the major media.

So the detentions will start with immigrants but will not stop there. Liberals and progressives could be targeted. Black, Brown, and Indigenous people may be targeted. Jewish people may be targeted. Muslim people would also be targeted. Asian and Pacific Islanders also. LBGTQ+ will be targeted as well. The physically and mentally disabled may be targeted also. Basically anyone that is not a conservative, white Christian Nationalist will be targeted.

It will probably start with immigrants and once that happens they will incrementally move on to other groups. What may be required is armed resistance. Those different groups of people that the Trump MAGA Regime will target should all band together and resist any kind of round ups and detentions. If they can do it to immigrants, that will be a test case that will allow them to do that to other groups.

We also must seek allies in the Military, the Justice Department, the Police, and any and all Law Enforcement Agencies that the Trump Regime will try to activate as fascist troops. All the soldiers and the cops must understand that rounding people up is against the Constitution and so any order to round up and detain people is an illegal and unconstitutional order. There will be some MAGA sympathizers that will follow these orders. We must identify and support those military and police that recognize that these are illegal orders and should not be executed.

We must be prepared and united to resist. The Trump MAGAs and the Project 2025 people are fascists and this time period we are in is similar to the time in Germany just before Hitler took over and consolidated power. Many Germans thought that Hitler could be controlled but he could not be. He was elected legally, and once elected he gradually took over and dissolved German democracy until he established an authoritarian Nazi Regime. Trump and his MAGA cronies are just a modern American version of that. Real American Fascists. We must hope for an electoral victory by Biden, but we must be prepared to have an active and organized resistance should Trump get re-elected.

I am not proposing that. I am proposing being prepared to act in our own self defense should the Constitution be suspended and the MAGAs start to actually round people up. People have a right to self defense. Mass detention is unconstitutional and we should be prepared to act in our own defense. A key part of that would be identifying who in the military and the police would resist MAGA versus those who would support it. Hopefully resistance can occur without violence and the use of force.

9. Use Of Force

I am hoping that the use of force will not occur. That said, if the MAGAs suspend the Constitution and start rounding people up, there will probably be many military and police that will resist, from top Generals (Milley) down to individual soldiers and cops. They would resist the execution of illegal and unconstitutional orders. I personally am not a solider or a cop. So my personal resistance would be non-violent and would not involve the use of force. If there were to be a conflict, I believe it would be between the MAGAs versus those that would remain loyal to our Constitution and Democracy. It would be a military and police matter. I am neither a soldier or a cop. I would support the Constitution however I could.

I am talking about self defense and being prepared. If Trump suspends the Constitution and starts rounding people up in camps, there would be a legal basis for resistance. We do not want to wake up in 2025 to a fascist regime. These people do not intend to be loyal to our country, our democracy, or our Constitution. I hope that it is a fantasy, but do not be surprised if it becomes a reality. Do not underestimate these MAGA people and their Project 2025. Hitler wrote Mein Kampf ahead of time and told everyone what he planned to do, yet nobody stopped him. The best way to stop this is to re-elect Joe Biden, but we need a back up plan in case Trump is re-elected.

But I imagine Jews never contemplated ghettos and concentration camps in Germany in the late 1930s, and Muslims never contemplated genocide in Bosnia in the early 90s, and the Tutsis never contemplated genocide in Rwanda in the mid 90s. History shows that fanatics are violent and there’s every reason to believe that MAGA is comprised of fanatics.

and hand Trump and the GOP a beating they won't forget in a lifetime. That's how democracy works.

That, and doing our dead level best to make sure that the plans they have for messing with the election results don't work. Because you know they are going to do their dead level best to cheat.
