Sen. Sanders: The U.S. must not continue its complicity in this horrific war.

Feb 20, 2024
The whole world is watching as Netanyahu and his right-wing government starve the children of Gaza and wage war against the Palestinian people. The U.S. must not continue its complicity in this horrific war.

Exactly. Talk-talk-talk, criticize-and-whine... but no action. Talk and complaints and blame is the "easy" part. Oopsie Daisy Feb 2024 #3
He was also on the TV in the UK today, so there's that. N/T lapucelle Feb 2024 #5

Talking directly with President Biden? Getting legislation passed in the Senate?

Biden is the president, not you. Stop it. And... "complicity"??? Seriously???

Not a word against Hamas. Why?

Again. Stop.

and continuing to drag the US down into that inhumane, cess pool of complicity. What's the body count now...25,000 and counting non-combatant Palestinian dead (many of them women and children) vs 1200 Israeli deaths on Oct. 7. Why that's 21 dead Palestinians for every Israeli death.

I ask you, is one Israeli life worth 21 Palestinian lives? Because that's what it come out to now, and that ratio is getting worse daily as the killing continues. There's no way to justify that ratio.

Of course Hamas' attack should've been retaliated against, but come on, 21 to 1 deaths and counting is OVER-RETALIATION AND COLLECTIVE PUNISHMENT OF A PEOPLE.

Netanyahu will keep that war going as long as he can to keep his corrupt ass out of jail.

Israel needs to get rid of him and put in sensible leadership...which they do have. It's not easy to replace him, I know, but the nation needs do it as it's making so many international enemies for this disgraceful and blatant war of over-retaliation.

He and two other senators have been trying to pass an amendment to reduce the amount of funding given to Israel. Bernie supports the actions taken against Hamas but not the indiscriminate bombing in Gaza that has killed so many innocent children. Additionally the much needed aid is not getting in.

This is the Middle East. Netanyahu isn't getting rid of terrorists, he's creating more.
