(35,135 posts)It's common sense. When our money is involved, that means our reputation is involved, so of course, strings should be attached for every transaction.
Right now, we aren't looking too good on the world stage because it appears that we're funding a mass slaughter. I'm very uncomfortable, disappointed and saddened by our complicity in such a humanitarian disaster.

(2,920 posts)The administration is dithering about whether genocide meets the criteria for pulling aid.
The US did pull military aid from Egypt for human rights abuses. The only reason that hasn't happened with Israel is politics.
