Do you know how legislatures have to consider the cost of the programs and bills they pass?

Well, why isn't someone calculating the cost to a State when is supports programs and rules that will push families into poverty because women will be forced to deliver their unwanted pregnancies and give birth to children that they cannot possibly support? Shouldn't someone come up with a number of dependents that a State would have to provide for, since food and education are going to be a problem for the young mothers to bear the cost of their own? Not to mention what is going to happen with the kind of social problems that come along with young populations that feel they have no future.

My Friend. Maybe “it” can turn its rectories into free day care centers and food banks. What would Jesus do with those rectories?

You know how in statistics classes they tell you these can be skewed and read from all directions, even when the math seems solid? yeah... same difference.

If they dont choose to SEE that they are creating the problem, then it's not their fault.

The current dynamic keeps them looking like saints to the Fundies, from both sides of the issue. Thay are able to both "save lives" and "condemn that whore woman" in the same breath. (And honestly, isn't that what the Bible is good at anyway, making the woman the whore and the one to blame?)

Cheap labor for the oligarchs. A class they can call the underclass and use that class as a whipping dog.
Get votes putting them down.
