Trump got 60% of the South Carolina primary votes compared to Haleys 40%; however, exit polls show that 59% of Haleys voters will not vote for Trump. This means 23.6% of Republicans who voted in the primary say they wont vote for Trump in the general.
Given that Trump as alienated progressives, independents, and moderate Republicans, he cant win in November.
My worry now is about Bidens health.

Id rather accept reality and adjust my political strategy accordingly.

(11,780 posts)If he doesnt stroke out hell be a babbling idiot (so obvious even magats cant ignore) by elections. It wont make any difference to his true believers. There were some comparisons to Weekend at Bernies lately which is just about true. Theyll prop him up and vote for him. But fewer and fewer republicans would vote for him.
