I'm feeling more optimistic...

…Trump got 60% of the South Carolina primary votes compared to Haley’s 40%; however, exit polls show that 59% of Haley’s voters will not vote for Trump. This means 23.6% of Republicans who voted in the primary say they won’t vote for Trump in the general.

Given that Trump as alienated progressives, independents, and moderate Republicans, he can’t win in November.

My worry now is about Biden’s health.

Biden’s age was a thing before the media talked about it.

I’d rather accept reality and adjust my political strategy accordingly.

If he doesn’t stroke out he’ll be a babbling idiot (so obvious even magats can’t ignore) by elections. It won’t make any difference to his true believers. There were some comparisons to Weekend at Bernie’s lately which is just about true. They’ll prop him up and vote for him. But fewer and fewer republicans would vote for him.

Again there is no reason to think that will happen and no evidence he is in bad health.
