I will say first of all, that any wrongful death committed by a member of any race against another member of any race is an egregious, inexcusable act.

I tuned into a right wing-nut radio talk show today (for a very few minutes) and the ongoing conversation was relative to the murdered college girl whose slayer has/had been identified as an 'illegal immigrant' which of course, led to a blame-game, shit-show directed at Biden's 'open border policy...' That was when I turned back to a music station.
But almost immediately, I had the thought, "What ethnicity/race individuals have been committing all the mass shootings for the past years?"
Wait for it...
But the wing-nuts never offer the comparison data.

(4,132 posts)We averaged over a mass shooting a day since 2020.

They had over 600 just last year.
But my guess is they would be majority white perpetrators.

And in that one, there's a "supplementary note" defining mass shooting as one with 3 or more deaths. I don't know how that would affect the total and was more interested in shooter demographics which turned out as expected. In truth, I was expecting a higher percentage.

(15,909 posts)After you add up whites, blacks, and latinos, the remaining minorities in America are a very small percent of the population. I don't think there are disproportionately large numbers of, say, Asian or Native American mass shooters out there. Masked mass shooters of unknown demographics? These numbers don't make much sense.
(Weird. An = sign in the subject line will disappear.)
