Internet slams Justice Thomas for hiring Clanton as law clerk
Justice Thomas's support for Clanton has been met with criticism on social media.
"Someone should tell him he's black," one posted on X.
"To be fair, Thomas also hates black people," another alleged.
"He's disgusting. He in no way should have ever been a Supreme Court judge at all. I think he hates himself," someone else offered.
"Thomas has always been a troll. He's not a serious justice," another added.

(96,941 posts)Adolph Caesar was an incredible actor.
Sergeant Waters, his character in the movie, blamed other black people for white people's racism. If you only behaved and thought a certain way, then white people wouldn't be so racist to you. They'd still be racist, but not against you so much because you tailored your behavior around what white people said was acceptable. You never acted in a way seen as "typically" black, as that drew attention to the fact you were black - and always less because of it. Sergeant Waters hated white people, but he hated black people more - the same way anyone hates those who have the same faults, as they remind us of our own shortcomings. Being black isn't a shortcoming or a fault, but to Waters thinking, it was just that - because white people saw it that way. That's why he hated the character C.J. Memphis so much. C.J. was happy being who he is - and to Waters' thinking, C.J. was nothing more than a stereotype bringing the entire race down and the "CJs" of the world were why white people thought so little of black people.
Keeping in mind that Waters self-loathing is a product of the racism he was subjected to from white people. Living under white supremacy is living a life of distortion and it affects everyone and not always how you would think.
Thomas is a piss-poor excuse for a Justice and an even sadder human. I have always thought he suffered from the same sort of self-loathing.

Thomas hates being black - he's even stated that he has been angry all of his life.
