And it nicely tied up a discussion of what our priorities might be has humans.

We're all human and we share love, some with our pups. Let's get our priorities straight.

the dog of your life. I’ve had lots of dogs and they all leave a mark on your heart and I’ve loved them all fiercely…but if I’m telling the truth, there’s that ONE. If you’re lucky, really lucky, there might be more than one.

Such a big heart. He had on 2 isreali/palestinian friends today. Yes, it was a good thing, but, no, it won't change anyone.

I get it.
I have rescued (many times from streets or even abusive situations, several dogs. I have found those dogs.
Aman. Rescued from being beaten.Owner released him to me. NeufwolfX. Died early morn walk as he bled out. 😭 11.5 years old. Unable to place him, I got on the board of the local shelter specifically to help organize and raise the funds for a new no-kill shelter. He inspired me.
Hattie. American cattledogX. Died in my arms in her favorite spot in the kitchen in the sunlight. 17.5 yrs old
Darby. Oh my Darby. Street rescue English springer spaniel, dumped out of truck by owner. Died quietly at my feet on my birthday at my work table while I worked. I carried him for his last year since he could no longer walk. I loved him deeply and madly as he loved me. 18.5 years old.
I have a few more but these were just some.
