The first murder in 20 years but they are screaming about how unsafe it is.

Crickets about these shootings so far this year. Wonder why?

Feb. 15

A 17-year-old boy was found shot to death in the woods in DeKalb County. He was identified as James Smith, of Stone Mountain.

Feb. 14

A 19-year-old DeKalb County woman was shot to death on Valentine’s Day. Destiny Carson was found with a gunshot wound on Bedevere Circle. Police identified 19-year-old Marquis Simmons as the gunman.

Feb. 10

J’Quan Reed, 19, was shot to death in downtown Savannah.

A 16-year-old boy was also shot to death in Peoplestown. Police identified him as Marcellius “Fendi” Satrone Stokes.

Feb. 9

A 15-year-old boy was shot to death after a basketball game at Tri-Cities High School in Atlanta. He was identified as Mario Bailey. Another teenager was stabbed and left with critical injuries.

Jan. 31

A 14-year-old boy was charged with involuntary manslaughter in the death of a 16-year-old in Columbus. Timothy Holloway Jr. was shot in the stomach inside a car and later died. The 14-year-old, who hasn’t been identified, was charged with misdemeanor involuntary manslaughter, reckless conduct and possessing a handgun while under the age of 18.

Jan. 27

A 17-year-old boy was shot in the parking lot of a Gwinnett shopping center. Elbert “Josh” Brown was shot around 2:15 a.m. in the parking lot of the Paragon Town Center in Duluth. No one has been arrested.

Jan. 18

Derrick Jackson, 18, was shot to death in Columbus, according to the Ledger-Enquirer. He was shot multiple times. No one has been arrested.

Jan.13

An 18-year-old was one of two people shot at a southwest Atlanta apartment complex. Thomas Lowe died of his injuries. A 16-year-old was also shot in the arm.

In Ben Hill County, 19-year-old Cynise White was shot to death. A woman her family said she was in a relationship with, 19-year-old Diamond Murphey, was arrested on charges of murder, felony assault and aggravated assault.

Jan. 9

A shooting at The Hills at Greenbriar apartments left a 19-year-old man dead. Jaharni Smith was killed after an alleged drug deal. Michael Stephens, 19, is facing murder charges.

Jan. 2

An 18-year-old man was shot to death in what police called a “targeted” triple shooting in Atlanta. Montravious Pitts was taken to the hospital, where he died. The other victims have not been identified, but they are expected to survive.

I noticed that all the victims in your list seem to have one thing in common. They all seem to be the names of people of color. Therefore the media doesn't give a damn. But a white girl in Atlanta gets murdered by an immigrant and that's front page news all over the country. Don't get me wrong, the murder of the young woman was horrific. But the the only reason there was Major focus on that particular killing was because it was a young, pretty, white girl and she was killed by a Venezuelan immigrant. Got to keep stoking those embers of racism you know.

10. MAGA is interested in the races and citizenship of the people involved

not the fact that murder happens to and by all sorts of people. They want to amplify the narrative of brown undocumented immigrants murdering white women. They don't want to spend any time on the many white Americans murdering each other.

When a white guy murders a lot of Americans, it's mental illness because he's the real victim here and needs our sympathy.

And then there's the narrative that liberal cities/towns are crime-ridden and dangerous.

GOP doesn't want to do a damn thing about immigration reform while there is a Dem president. They want to amplify the perceived problems to help elect Trump and other MAGA types.
