3. I'm surprised they came into Richmond

The talk radio station paints a picture of the city as a lawless shoot out. I heard that almost 30 years ago from coworkers who thought where I lived, The Fan, was the OK Corral. It’s a very great neighborhood.

They will have to build up their military capacity and develop their own nuclear arsenal.

will be diverted to an arms race.

7. Not Southern Virginia

Richmond is a very diverse city and the surrounding countries run the gamut of progressive to conservative. The area that he is speaking at is near VCU which is a liberal arts university. Virginia has voted Democratic in the past four Presidential elections. Trump is whistling past the graveyard if he thinks he is going to take Virginia in 2024. Yes we have Glenn Youngkin for another year but he is effectively neutered by a democratic legislature and our counties have very good election protocols.

8. Richmond is, but West of there are large red areas..

Va is a purple state. I think Biden will win it, but they are def going to work a bit to get it. The last Governor race showed that.

Dems also hold a thin margin in both houses, like 51-49, and 21-19..

Terry McAuliffe ran a horrible race. He didn't challenge Youngkin lies about CRT being taught in public schools. He then made a game changing comment during a debate that Youngkin ran in commercials until the election. Youngkin has shown who he and the independents will not vote for his successors who are even more to the right then he is.
