Legacy TV news media is dying a very fast death. There was a time not so long ago when the three evening news anchors were household names. I'm 60, and I can name them, Tom Brokaw (NBC), Peter Jennings (ABC), and Dan Rather (CBS). Today, I know Lester Holt and have no idea of who's on the other channels.
Many of the current anchors on TV receive enormous salaries based on what anchors made years ago. Some of these anchors are getting paid like pro athletes and top movie stars without any of the name recognition. Yet, most people (esp. young people) have no idea who some of these anchors are. Hence, this is why they need Trump. He brings in ratings for them.
They see Trump as their salvation.

They personally benefit more from Trumps tax rates than where Biden wants them. That has to influence them.
Has anyone tried hiring investigative journalists at a reasonable salary without kowtowing to big businesses? Rhetorical.
