He says a lot of stuff I'm pretty sure even he doesn't believe.

He is completely without scruples, but knows his Democratic opponents will play by the rules he's willing to ignore.

This should be used in many campaign advertisements against him:
TRUMP CLAIMS HE IS ABOVE THE LAW!
TRUMP BELIEVES HE HAS ABSOLUTE IMMUNITY
TRUMP'S LAWYERS SAY HE COULD NOT BE PROSECUTED EVEN IF HE HAD POLITICAL OPPONENTS ASSASINATED!
We should never stop reminding voters that HE claims he can do these things,

(2,957 posts)..SCOTUS is going to rule on whether Trump's dirty deeds were within the "outer perimeter of Presidential duties" rather than blanket immunity for anything a President does. Some of those justices seem very talented at interpreting Constitutional language and precedents to come up with whatever decision they want to make.
