...what will likely give it even more impact is Trump almost certainly doubling down on attacking the 'Romneys' in their party again today, like his post saying she was trounced or something demeaning like that.

These are mostly independents and sometime republicans voting for Haley. It's a no-brainer to pick up that ball and walk it over the goal line.

I cannot fathom that to be any other than a winning message because it is so true. The Biden campaign understands what is going on in the country, what the stakes are, and how the country is divided. It is a position of strength and American resolve.

What should unite Democrats, Republicans, and independents is a love for America.

For too many in the Republican Party, there is more love for a candidate than for the country they want him to rule.

(Yes, I said rule. For the past 20 or 30 years, Republicans have been more interesting in ruling than in governing.)

If only Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders had shown the same understanding and tolerance towards each other back in 2016! We wouldn't be here now because Chump would have never been elected.

Unfortunately, Nikki Haley does not possess personal courage. She will fall in line and endorse TSF just like Moscow Mitch. Hope I’m wrong about that, but I doubt I am.

Every time he does something good and positive and brave for ALL Americans and then kicks it into a higher level I say to my Husband "President Joe has done it again!" and he says "I know" and then we get to talk about positive stuff for quite a while

they'd rather sit home on November 5th.

That's why the GOP is so fucking Nazified now. "Yeah, I know Trump is a rapist, a classified documents thief, a congenital liar, a white supremacist, and an insurrectionist, but I just can't vote for a Democrat."

But here is what I wish he’d said:

Dear Nikki Haley supporters,

I have appreciated the courage of Nikki Haley for further illuminating the Dangers & Chaos of Trump.

As President of the United States of America, I ask for your continued courage, your support and your vote, to help preserve American democracy. This November let us come together and help defeat that sick fuck.

Best
Joe

I guess I’m of the Tip O’Neill school. Biden should come right out and directly ask for the Haley vote. Too often it seems Republicans who don’t support the GOP Top Dog take the half-assed measure and don’t vote for anyone or do the cutesy and claim they voted for their wife. This time around they might even have No Labels or Kennedy to turn to in protest.

After he lost a close election, Tip once asked his neighbor why he didn’t vote for him and his neighbor said ‘you never asked me too’. Seems best not to leave any stones unturned this election, the stakes are too damn high.
