As the vast majority of the R's most reliable voters include elderly family members that DEPEND upon those programs, cutting those programs would be self-defeating, or, maybe, an invitation to vengence by their own gun-owning cohorts.

No, you moron, the cuts are supposed to be to taxes for rich republican donors like the ones who keep your campaign war chest full and Clarence Thomas on luxury vacations (screw everyone else), not to the institutions that keep the nation running.
And another thing, chances are your inexperience behind won't be around to see any such cuts, what with the "motion to vacate rule" your malicious but short-sighted repug colleagues foolishly adopted recently (see Kevin McCarthy).
