Carvill on Ari. Not what he once was.

Just listened to two segments featuring James Carvill on the Ari show on MSNBC. He holds a lot of wisdom and experience. He’s analysis is smart, often cutting, and sometimes wildly insightful.

He’s not great at expressing himself anymore. Lots fitful starts and stops, mini digressions, and stutters while he reaches for that homely metaphor. He’s got so much going on in his head his mouth can’t keep up.

He’s like Biden. A brilliant guy who’s gotten older. Still anticipating positive outcomes while acknowledging the difficulty of achieving them. A good guy to have on our side.

I have a hard time listening to him anymore but a good guy to have on our side.

He knows it is dooms day for American Democracy should Orange Jesus step foot back in the White House.

Carville is a bit old for this pace and has no ancillary or back up staff to help day-to-day to wage the final battle to keep this government out of trDUMPIE's dirty filthy hands.

But Carvill is determined to get his face out there and keep the White House free of trDUMP's stench. He feels obligated to sound the alarm near, far, and widespread all over the media.

I wish Schumer and Jeffries and others were more visible on this stuff. All hands on deck, for gods sake.

I can call a press conference to trash Trump but no one would care. If Those guys call a press conference, or do an interview with a local tv station, and in it use the incendiary language appropriate to this election, that makes the news.

I’ve heard it said that legislators in the house and senate are forced to use half their time raising funds. So it’s not that they don’t have time.

That line seemed to suggest that the party needed to be more "business-friendly" and that often means less regulation and less long-term economic sustainability.

I always had a difficult time listening to him.
