After months of leaving open whether the group would offer a ticket, No Labels delegates are expected to vote Friday in favor of launching a presidential campaign for this fall’s election, according to the people familiar with the matter, who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss the group’s internal deliberations."

"Anyone with half a brain should realize that as long as Presidential Elections in the USA are conducted using the Electoral College system, there will never be a viable third Party candidate. In fact, if a third Party candidate receives enough Electoral Votes, none of the candidates would be likely to receive the necessary 270 Electoral Vote. Then, the House of Representatives would decide the outcome of the Election with each State receiving one Vote. In order words, candidates would be selected not elected. To include more choices in our Presidential Election process, first we need to find a way to implement the popular vote system."
