(670 posts)It was smart of the Republicans to try to get an attractive, young, seemingly empathetic woman to give the response. But, my goodness, is she overshooting the mark. Every sentence is a breathy, angsty sigh. She is trying so hard to project pain that it's just comical. I like Star Trek, but this reminds me of William Shatner wildly overdoing a part. If there was an acting coach in the audience they'd be standing on their chair practically yelling "Dial It BACK!!!"
