From the early part of this century.

I bought their mag on New Year’s Day and it led me to DU.

I’m not watching the video.

2. Poor isolated Russia?

What a joke. Russia has only itself to blame for the state of affairs in Europe, where Putin and his oligarchs were overindulged for years by flaccid and often corrupt governments only to have him reward them for their fealty with the biggest land war on the continent since WWII. Now Germany is being provocative by “re-industrializing”?

She not only whiffs on that, she compares Biden unfavorably with Reagan, who she casts as a man of relatively peaceful intentions, omitting the massive defense buildup and the nuclear dick waving that accompanied his “charm” offensive.

That’s where I stopped, my minimum daily requirement of Old Lefty obtuseness having been met.

5. Allowing Russia to sieze large parts of Ukraine by invasion, as what she wants,

would only embolden Putin to try to grab more.

Already Putin and Medvedev have shown maps to their public where Ukraine fails to exist and large parts of Poland have been painted as part of Russia, instead. Give up Ukraine and Russia will attack Poland next, and we'll have World War III on our hands.

11. "Allowing Russia to seize large parts of Ukraine by invasion, as what she wants"?

I didn't hear anywhere in that interview where she said or implied that she wants that.

(From the Democracy Now transcript of the interview)
"I do think that he best case for Ukraine - and it has been touted but dismissed - is a negotiated settlement that will preserve the security of Ukraine, that will bring more peace and stability to Europe."

Are you against any "negotiated settlement that will preserve the security of Ukraine"?

12. A "negotiated settlement", as she wants, would mean that Russia gets a large part of Ukraine

by invasion. Just as I said.

13. I don't agree. 'Negotiated settlement" doesn't necessarily mean that.

6. Stop being mean to Putin, elite establishment military industrial complex, NATO bad, Democrats

have been neoliberals until like just now (why they haven't done anything progressive like lowering Pharma prices) but can't transform domestic policy until foreign policy changes warmonger Cold War redux, Reagan understood Russia better than Biden who has been pushed to the Left because bad in the past.

I listened to the whole thing and that's what I heard. Couldn't understand the point. It's probably very disappointing not to be able to get really mad at Democrats for everything. Foreign policy's the best way to attack Biden.
