There are 2 main possibilities, as I see it:

A. She really believes all of the garbage she said.
B. She doesn't believe that garbage but was willing to go on national television and say all of it anyway.

Okay, I decided: I think B is worse, because that would mean she's a huge hypocrite, and I HATE hypocrisy.
