If tRump does win/steal the 2024

Will that make you stop and think that you can no longer feel happy about living here in the future? Would you consider moving elsewhere?

If Trump regains the presidency, this will no longer be a safe place to live.

My wife and I are white, educated and moderately secure financially. We own our homes.

Given those circumstances, if we don’t feel secure, I can’t imagine how millions of people will feel.

but because my Dutch/English wife and I looked at the global politic and decided to reside England.

And then Brexit...

Lesson here is that you can't predict anything. You can only react. make the best decisions you can and act on them at the time. That's all you can do. Sometimes events will overshadow any decision you make - and you just have to get by - make the best of it.

Unless you have unlimited resources and can jump into your private jet and wisk away to a forgotten land... (I can't do that)

When I was inducted into the Army I took an oath …it didn’t stop at my discharge from the military.

If staying and opposing means it shortens my life…so be it…it’s been great so far.

I’m stuck here. But I’ve already encouraged my daughter, an RN with 2 daughters herself, to look into it.

I have dual citizenship (American-French) so we can move anywhere in Europe. We are thinking of buying a home in Portugal. Its a perfect place to be an expat. The cost of living is low, they have top notch healthcare, climate is perfect and crime is nearly non-existent.
