Working hard

Stepped out to my deck just now to listen to Stephanie Millers last hour. A big house down the hill below me was fully shingled 2 hours ago. A couple of Latino roofers have almost completely removed all the old shingles and would bet it will be fully coved with new shingles by day’s end.
Not killing, not raping, not muling fentanyl just fucking working their asses off doing jobs most white people will not do. In the last 3-4 years most roofs, including mine have been replaced by Latino crews on the mountain side. In a day.
This crew is rocking out with Latino music I can clearly hear up here. Gonna finish my coffee while enjoying their cultural music with them.
FUCK you GQP. Every God Damned one of you.
And thank you Latinos for making America great by working your asses off.
I also live above a huge very Apple orchard. Fully operated with back breaking effort by Latinos.
Wish I had a huge Truck Fump flag I could wave to them.
We’re blessed they still work for us.

I'm also seeing significantly less roofs being repaired, less landscaping being done, and less hard labor work being done. The first two years I lived here I saw Latinos every where all working hard. This was especially true after hurricane Ian. Florida would have been in a huge mess without them. Much slower clean up and recovery. What does DeSantis do to say thank you for all their hard work? Makes their lives much harder and living in Florida more dangerous for them. Another republican backwards answer to a problem.

take the siding from a 3 story Victorian house, add insulation and wrap, and then carefully install John Hardie cement siding, while keeping all the original gingerbread trim. It did take them a week. I was a nervous wreck watching them tie 2 extension ladders together to reach the attic windows! Most were from Ecuador or Venezuela.

A small 800 square foot cottage. But it was a chicken barn that was a residual structure left in a wealthy mountain side community and made into this little home.
And during the summer, an army of Latinos work like hell maintaining these steep large yards for the Rich owners, most stay in Florida during winter.
Many are trumpers. Just a couple of us year rounders do our own yards.
These people would be lost without these amazing hard working perfectionist at the jobs they do.
If their is a God, bless these great people that those in your party want to shoot when coming here to work.
