Because he knew ahead of time that they were coming to his Florida property on a specific date he was unnecessarily alerted to allow him to plan on moving the boxes to Jersey. But after the search in Florida gave the results it did as far as classified documents and the factors of storage etc. the DOJ/FBI should have used that fact immediately to go to a Jersey judge and gotten a warrant for Jersey. They didn't and the timid gun shy reaction they had right after the Florida search may have been enough to make them go slow on expanding the search to other properties even though it was logical to suspect them.

There is no doubt that there is an untold story here of how much the MAGA friendly agents in the FBI/SS were talking back and forth off the record. Remember the SS magically deleting all of their e-mails and texts from around the 1/6 events. "We just did a scheduled upgrade" never passed the smell test and is still on the burner of investigations. Think about that fact among all the other mind-blowing events. It appears that MAGA friendly FBI/SS agents were a part of the insurrection attempt, were involved in limiting more expansive searches for classified documents and are suspected still of supporting the attempts to support the return of that monster to the White House.
