Has Trump finally gone one-step too far with many Republican voters?

They were OK with all the shit he has said and done up to this point.

But, when his daughter-in-law was put in charge of the RNC and announced that all the money donated to the Party would go to the re-election of Donald Trump, it finally grabbed their attention.

It's OK to install an authoritarian government and to burn down the Capitol, but don't take their money.

They cannot stomach the idea that Donald Trump will take all the money and leave them none. They do not believe his coattails are enough to keep them in power.

Could this have been the straw that broke the elephant's back?

We can dream and pray that the quiet part has been said out loud. For all TSF is is a CON-MAN.

Because his saps of voters are tapped out, save for the billionaire donors he will likely sell positions of power to if elected. The man is for sale to the highest bidder.

If he steals the election again, he is worth a great deal to his minders.

There's a good article on Kos about the big GoFundMe for the So Unfair Mean Judge New York Judgment, which is currently approaching 0.3% of the total owed - a total that continues to grow, thanks to the miracle of compound interest..

Anyway, the poster started tracking on February 25th:
Total Donations $1,233,056
Per Day Donations $137,066

Here are the totals for March 12th:
Total Donations $1,349,493
Per Day Donations $661

It's the other person, Whatley who we should be concerned about. When he was in charge of the N. Carolina RNC he spent 75% of the money on lawyers and lawsuits. Having the National RNC do the same thing is fine with Magats.

I have no doubt that Joe Biden will win a fair election but I do not see this election being fair. That doesn't mean that we will lose, it means that we will have to overwhelm the vote in favor of Biden.

I would not be surprised if Russia hacked into our voting equipment.

Turn on Deadline White House every Wednesday, what Magats are doing trying to steal the election is enormous. Nicolle has seen how important it is to expose this that she is having Marc Elias on every Wednesday.

When Marc Elias is worried, we all should be worried. he is swamped with lawsuits and his filing lawsuits.

They will spend all their money on fighting against tsf being held accountable for his crimes and let the rest of the R's fundraise on their own. Hopefully this will drive some of them away from him when it's their campaigns that run out of $$$ and it's all his fault. They can't put this on the Dems, it's their furher (sp?) who's doing it on purpose and proving once again he's only in it for himself and some of them will split from him and not vote as he tells them. Hoping they stop, but if they don't I'm ok with free falling into the ravine too.

As for the rnc, it's going into the litigation business.

Voter suppression instead of voter outreach and gotv.

It's cheaper and more effective.

The rest of the money will go to stinky. They don't care about small donors turning away from the rnc. That's more to go directly to stinky.

It's the big donors they want to funnel.

I think any way you cut this it is great news for Dems, at least down ticket. As much as I want Biden to be re-elected, I also want to retake the House and improve Dem majority in the Senate. To get things done, we need not only the WH but the Congress. In the terrible event that Trump wins, probably only because of the Electoral College if he does, limiting the damage of another Trump presidency is only possible thru having all of Congress in the Dem's hands.

If Repub candidates stick with Trump and MAGA they lose moderate/independent votes.

If they denounce Trump they lose MAGA votes.

It happened in my district in 2020. The Pugs had a safe seat held by the same congresswoman for 12 years. She turned against Trump by backing Romney 2016 and voted for his impeachment. In 2020 the local party was controlled by MAGAs and ran a superMAGA against her. We ended up with a liberal/moderate Democrat for the first time in 12 years.

I expect the same to happen around the country in '24.
