got home there was an email asking me to update my credit card info so ‘they’ could renew my store ‘membership’.

Very plausible site and $amount.

I don’t have a store membership.

Must’ve gotten my info off the laptop when at the store.

Careful. Scammers and hackers are everywhere.

9. I got a fake invoice yesterday from Best buy Greek squad renewing my annual geek squad for $312

I called the number and it disconnected every time. I brought a computer last February 2023 and still had my receipt and I didn’t sign up for a repair renewal fee. The closer I looked at it the fonts were off and it was a reddish orange color and not the usual Best Buy logo.

So many scams nowadays. And if someone calls asking for money and asking I give them my credit card info I tell them no send me a pledge card and I’ll mail a check. I never give out my credit number to someone calling me!
