got home there was an email asking me to update my credit card info so they could renew my store membership.
Very plausible site and $amount.
I dont have a store membership.
Mustve gotten my info off the laptop when at the store.

(27,248 posts)I called the number and it disconnected every time. I brought a computer last February 2023 and still had my receipt and I didnt sign up for a repair renewal fee. The closer I looked at it the fonts were off and it was a reddish orange color and not the usual Best Buy logo.
So many scams nowadays. And if someone calls asking for money and asking I give them my credit card info I tell them no send me a pledge card and Ill mail a check. I never give out my credit number to someone calling me!
