How's the placement of members of the National Guard in the NYC subways working out?

I was hopeful that Hochul's action might actually work as a deterrent to crime...

Yes, subway crime is up a bit but from the statistics I’ve seen, it’s nowhere near the level it was 30 and 40 years ago.
