Stop saying Trump is anti democracy. He is anti American.

Watching Trump salute to honor the Jan 6th criminals turned my stomach. That is not what Americans do. We don't salute (as if he's still commander in chief? Or that they are our soldiers? Or his soldiers?) we place our hands over our hearts. And we don't honor or pardon people who tried to tear down our country. Or vote for them. What has happened to us?

I'm not sure the anti democracy meme is working. It's too abstract. And when I think about it, I would love to have a Dem in office forever. That would be a great thing. For everyone.

Saying he is anti American means the same as anti democracy but maybe Republicans will understand it.

Or not. But I like it better.

3. Sore loser and cheater.

Yes, anti-American. But I think things like sore loser and cheater hit harder and are easier to prove. Or at least to convince people of.

What is and isn't pro- or anti- "American" is in practice pretty vague and people disagree.

But I think it's easier to convince people (well maybe independents, thought not republicans of course) that he lost, was a sore loser, and tried to win by cheating after he lost.

Just look at the entertainment they like.
Lots of lovable bank robbers, casino crooks, revenge murderers, Wall Street manipulators and cheats are the beloved stars.
It's "which crook do you like most" as the main characters in major hit movies and teevee programming.
Americans love crooks cheaters.
And if they could cheat on their taxes ... like dear orange leader, they will.

When America backs a coup or dictatorship, is it unAmerican? I mean ... how many RW coups and RW dictatorships has America backed in its history, and current time?

I ask my neighbor to clean up his own yard littered with junk before calling me out for my brown grass.

America hated the "tyranny" of the Brits, but we do love us some Brit Royals and Royal nooz.
