"I told him that we won't be able to beat Hamas without entering Rafah and killing the rest of their battalions that are there. I told him that I hope we do this with U.S. support, but if we need to - we will do it alone," said Netanyahu.

The prime minister added that he told Blinken that "we recognize the need to evacuate the civilian population from the war zones, and of course to care for the humanitarian needs, and we are acting to achieve this."

Yeah, of course . . . such caring for humanitarian needs . . .

5. Israel has a right to defend itself

And I have been one of the more vocal supporters of Israel here since this war began. But this is feeling less and less like defense and more and more like revenge and an effort to punish the people of Gaza for 10/7.

They ordered all of the civilians to this area to be more safe from their bombing, and now they're going in for a ground war in a heavily poipulated area with women and children hiding. I realize Hamas are cowards and hiding here, and hamas could stop much of this if they released the hostages at once, but there is no excusing a ground incursion into what amounts to a refugee camp now.

6. Netanyahu sees this war as a win-win, but both of "wins" are for himself. The first win for himself is stealing more,

if not ALL, Palestinian land in Gaza and the West Bank. The second win for himself is making President Biden look bad for not being able to broker a ceasefire, all because Netanyahu clearly wants his fellow monster Trump to win the presidency in November.
