Doesn't the Constitution say the President and the VP can't be from the same state?

These guys both live in Florida, at least it appears they do.

2. Actually no. There is an issue with the electoral college in that those electors from same state can not

vote for both a President and VP from the same state. But as long as the winning votes in the electoral college are not close then that is not a problem. Still, given FL is a must-win for Trump, it certainly could be a big problem in that instance.

it might be a little difficult for even trump to convince the supreme court that the senator from florida is from alabama.

It says the Electors of each State will vote for President and VP, ONE OF WHICH must be from a different State. So they can sacrifice the EVs from Florida for Rubio if they have enough from elsewhere.
