Doesn't the Constitution say the President and the VP can't be from the same state?
These guys both live in Florida, at least it appears they do.

(102,379 posts)vote for both a President and VP from the same state. But as long as the winning votes in the electoral college are not close then that is not a problem. Still, given FL is a must-win for Trump, it certainly could be a big problem in that instance.

(94,745 posts)It says the Electors of each State will vote for President and VP, ONE OF WHICH must be from a different State. So they can sacrifice the EVs from Florida for Rubio if they have enough from elsewhere.
