but I am far from discouraged by this slight delay in trial and reduction of bond. Sure, it's not optimal. But he's still going to have to put up a hefty amount (which he probably doesn't have) and he's still going to have to pay E.Jeanne Carroll the entire amount when it's due.
I won't let this minor speedbump discourage me. IMHO other rulings by the Supreme Court and Aileen Cannon have been much more biased and unfair.
Just my two cents, but remember...It's not over til it's over.

I admire your ability to remain optimistic. I'm having a hard time with that.

(25,503 posts)at cheato when he would give press conferences as president, but he would "scream" right back at them with insults and lies. Joe, of course, is polite. It's a different dynamic that doesn't always work in our favor unfortunately.

(3,951 posts)report was released was the worst press behavior up to that point. They shouted at Trump. This time at least they sounded like an attacking mob screaming at Joe Biden.
It was repulsive.
I think they should be called on and identify themselves.

I know Trump thinks these delays mean he's scott-free, but repeating that delusion is really something else.

(94,667 posts)...don't get caught up in the doomsaying takes, or the Trump won takes.
Trump may well think he's winning here (I don't think he believes that) but we don't have any need at all to take on that delusion.

(5,552 posts)personally I doubt they'd vote for anyone who isn't a Maga extremist like him. Romney is an ass, but not violently psychotic enough for most of them. My guess is they'd still write in Trump or nominate Gym Jordan or worse Don, Jr.

(25,503 posts)The replace cheato theory is never going to happen even if he is convicted. R's have been signalling that from the beginning.

(5,552 posts)He might not win, but at this point we cannot predict which it will be win or loose for him. Until he actually has to pay out the entire amount with no chance of recovering a dime of it, or ends up behind bars, I reserve the right to believe he is being given special treatment by the court system that others would not be granted.
If he does have to actually pay or actually have to to prison, I will apologize to the courts
