Remember their fealty is to their stockholders and to the capitalist system. They are not “truth tellers” - they are there to deliver an audience to their advertisers. Period. That is the goal and their revenue stream is based on eyeballs. If they could get you to watch a test pattern 24 hours a day, that is what they would broadcast.

It doesn't bother me that he's on MSNBC; I don't want all of its talking heads to just reinforce my biases. I'd like to think I'm able to think for myself well enough to determine whether and when any of them are purveying bullshit. But McDaniel was something else altogether; she was an active participant in TFG's minions' attempts to subvert the election, and NBC should never have even considered hiring her. But I don't have a problem hearing opposing ideas now and then.

Lived under his Governance in Ohio and he was an awful kiss ass right wing nut. But he talks nice.

He has many bad ideas. But since I am capable of identifying them as bad it doesn't bother me that he occasionally turns up on a cable news show.
