one especially! The last one is disappointing. . so many people thinking that women being called those names is funny is very disappointing. Please understand, I have NO problem with ME being called either of those, because I know their original meanings, and claim them proudly. But in our exceedingly patriarchal culture, they are intended as insults and slurs.

By the way, I kept thinking that that pile of wood was going to burst into flame!

Thank you for the "Reminder" meme. I always hear about the Stormy Daniels affair but no one ever talks about the Karen McDougal affair and apparently that one (according to McDougal) was more of a love affair than a one time encounter.




I love Alison Arngrim (who played Nellie Oleson on Little House on the Prairie). I have her book "Confessions of a Prairie Bitch: How I Survived Nellie Oleson and Learned to Love Being Hated. I also watch her interviews or whatever she's doing at that time. She is a sexual abuse survivor and stood up to her abuser!
