Under Trump you could make up medicines, they could be chemicals from the laundry or stuff from under the sink. You could use stuff for horses. It didn't matter, there was freedom and you could say anything about about medicine you wanted. They let you do it. Now they made up all these new rules that say stuff has to be proven and tested. That isn't how the founding fathers did things, none of it was proven or tested.

He's not trying to get rid of TikTok anyway. He just wants TikTok's Chinese owner ByteDance to divest their U.S. assets, because of what many think are legitimate concerns about national security.

Is it politically popular? Of course not. That doesn't necessarily mean it's stupid.

What has he done in the last 10 years that has proven that "socially left" crap they are trying to spew?

What bills has he voted YES on in Congress that furthers that?

In 2017, he almost accepted a position in Dumpy's Admin.

Currently, he is very anti-vax and makes false claims to that effect.

EDIT:

Oh, and "not too old"? Dude is 70 years old.

But hey, 81 years is "too old" ?

And yes, to people who think 81 is too old, 70 can be more acceptable. Eleven years is not an insignificant difference. A 70-year old could coplete two terms and still be younger than Biden is today. It's also a perception thing... if you watch him, he seems substantially younger than Biden.

And if you don't like USA Today, fine, pick your source. He is consistently lefty on numerous social issues, particularly economic and environmental policy,. (Obviously, all bets are off when you get to the vaccine lunacy.)

Look, I'm not defending him, I'm certainly not going to vote for him. But the question was why someone might. Don't shoot the messenger.

"Deplatforming" even rid of us of losers like "Roosh V" who finally had to grow up and get a job once the MRA/PUA gravy train came to a dead end. (He's also an admitted sex tourist/rapist, so it put an end to that as well). I for one am glad for the weeping and gnashing of teeth of incels and fascists the world over now that they don't have an easy platform to watch the world burn--and to contribute to the conflagration.

I ran into quite a few MAGA crazies at different events I attended, but the anti vax folks were the most outrageous. They worked closely together to interrupt and cause distractions where ever the Democratic Party of Georgia had meetings. This was my very first encounter with these folks and I had never realized how brainwashed these people are. I would say at least 90% of them were Trump voters.

except for the looney anti-vax stuff. The rest is pretty typical democratic platform stuff. He just thinks the country needs a younger alternative, similar to Nicki Haley's reasons for running.

But the parties have been very clear about who their candidates are, so I don't see the point for him now. I think it's just his ego refusing to give in.
