And closeted since long before that. I keep waiting for the “implosion” that is going to happen to the armed forces because of it.

(They do love the term ‘implosion’. It’s like they don’t know what it means, but heard it somewhere and feel compelled to use it.)

13. I had a DivO tell me "don't worry, I won't out you"

Because he thought I was a Lesbian.
I didn't wear make-up, try to date my male compatriots, put up with bullshit (I kept a racheting cable cutter on my bench), was reliable, good at Math and Engineering, and I was put in charge of my own work center after six months at my command. This in 1979/1980.
Laz, as once being part of the Chair Force (USAF - 1983 - 1987) say if the Command he was at was serious about getting rid of any Gays, they would have to get rid of all the best and most reliable Airmen they were constantly giving awards to.

The Military only typically accused self-entitled slackers, drama queens, or perceived threats to "Good Order and Discipline" that they wanted to get rid of anyway of being homosexuals during that time. We both knew people who were kicked out for being gay on specious accusations who were straight.
And I suspect it had been that way since the UCMJ was being written.

5. That could be one of my cousins

Damn, they are some of the most arrogant, self-righteous, uneducated, ignorant and dumb people I’ve ever met. If they weren’t family, I’d never interact with them.

The part that hurts is that Democrats always strive to make their lives better but they’re too lost in their hatreds to see it.

Pitiful.

Thankfully I moved to another state and have had some health issues that give me a good excuse for not going home very often.

And for a fact knew of LGB--and even a T.

Of all the examples I knew about, the military went after only the T. She didn't try to wear women's uniforms or anything like that during her transition, but she came out before her sex reassignment surgery. If it hadn't been so serious an issue, the military's bumbling response to it would have been hilarious.

7. Hypocrite. These people, regardless of their persuasion, are serving our Country, protecting ALL of us.

This thug doesn't support the military, as so many of tRUMP's thugs don't either. They mouth off and sprout garbage, but then when the going gets tough, they run to the police, the military, etc. screaming for help/for protection...

And again, here we are, exposed to the mouthy ramblings of a tRUMP supporter. I'd rather by far, hear more about Pres. Biden, and his cabinet and their accomplishments. Enough of these brain-dead zombies of tRUMP.

Those two peoples' accents were nothing - trust me, I live up here and am surrounded by them.

Some of the old timers' accents are so thick it sounds like they just got off a Scandanavian freighter.

Yah-hey!

11. Ummm. Kinsey scale. A lot of people fall into the Bisexual range.

But they don't typically either realize it or act on it unless they are the type to just ask to f*** anyone they have the slightest interest in.

Bisexuals love who they are attracted too, just like everyone else along the spectrum. I've met quite a few who are happily married to a partner one sex or gender but might still drool over or ask for a "hall pass" over a celebrity of an opposite sex or gender to their partner.

Personally, I think most people are at least little bit bi. This guy is just afraid of his personal feels. He doesn't want to be considered a wimp or worse, a liberal.
