Critics Jog Lara Trump's Memory After Her Claim About Father-In-Law's Presidency

Lara Trump boasted about unemployment under her father-in-law, former President Donald Trump, and received a much-needed reality check on social media.

“We remember Donald Trump as president for four years. You remember how low the unemployment number actually was — the real unemployment number,” the new Republican National Committee co-chair told Fox News’ Sean Hannity Monday while comparing Donald Trump to his successor, President Joe Biden.

But as users on X, formerly Twitter, noted, the former president left office with an unemployment rate of 6.3% — 1.6% higher than it was when he was sworn in.

In 2020, when the pandemic hit, unemployment skyrocketed from a 50-year low of 3.5% to 14.7%.

I credit Don with 400,000 deaths because he didn't understand and he didn't react.

It will be gone next week,... you'll see,.. I am right.

It will be gone before Spring....

It will be gone by Easter....

It will magically disappear,.. watch you will see....

We have one of the highest death rates per capita. Freezer tractor trailer truck were placed in the back parking lots of hospitals because they ran out of space to put all the dead bodies.

A million people needlessly died because trDUMP wanted to down play the real threat of Covid because he did not want the pandemic to negatively impact his re-election chances for a second term. So he lied and lied to the Amercan people about Covid.

Data pointed to Blue/highly urban areas as being the inflection points. You know, big Democrat areas. Trump was slow walking reaction, hoping to kill the Democratic vote. Turns out, he probably killed more of his Cult than anyone else.

That's what I remember. He ought to be on trial for killing 400,000 Americans by downplaying the severity of the situation.

Tell the trDUMP half assed version of how his admin would make Covid magically disappear - and that would be his fool proof guaranteed ticket to a second term in the Oval Office.

trDUMP thinks he has an IQ of 200 and everybody else an IQ of 30.

.... who beat down Covid before it created any damage, injury, death, or harm.

But he is so unqualified to handle such a convoluted task such as a national/international pandemic.

He has not a clue - but he is way in over his head to even run a neighborhood adolecent Kool-aid stand. Let alone be president of the most powerful country on earth. Way,.. way,.. way beyond his job skills, his emotional temperament, and his rudimentary day to day abilities and thought processes.

11. His smart option was to trust Fauci and the CDC to provide the right recommendations to him.

For whatever reason, he decided to make Dr. Fauci out to be the Boogyman. Trump added 400,000 needless deaths.

if he hadn't turned covid into a political football.

In events like that people are looking for someone to make them feel safe. GWB's popularity rose to like 90% the week after 9-11 because he made people feel safe (regardless of how safe they actually were.).

Covid was another rally-round-the-flag event.

All he had to do was stand up there every day with his medical team. Let Fauci talk, and not use it as a wedge. But he couldn't help himself. Fauci was becoming popular and Trump couldn't stand that anyone else, even somebody on his team, was getting any attention. That's when he started with the not wearing masks, fighting stay-at-home orders, down playing the virus, etc.

He could have stopped campaigning entirely. Said that the health of the nation was too important for him to take time to campaign. What would Biden have done to counter that?

Trump just can't get out of his own way. The only reason he was ever president was because he got to run against Hillary who the right had already spent 25 years running ops against, and got to do so in an election after 2 straight Democratic terms. Any generic republican would have won easily in 2016, but he was bad enough that it was close.
