I hope someone asks MAGAs if they believe in sabotage is good for the country.

No hair dresser
No DEPENDS...just regular tightie whities
No special diet...eat what is given you
NO access to Social Media
ONE phone call daily
No suits with red ties
No visitors other than spouse, maybe immediate family, and 1 Lawyer.(I doubt Jr. and Eric will visit. They could be next. Ivanka? She wouldn't dare.)After a few days of this, TSF just might cooperate. But then, maybe not.

. . . are dead.

He wants to play the martyr card but without actually being martyred. He doesn't really want to go to real jail; he has no concept of that reality. It's all a fantasy to him.

The system's whole fear of what would happen if they DID put him in jail is what keeps him doing it. Lock him up -- as someone said, put him in on Friday, keep him over the week-end, hearing on Monday morning -- and I'd be willing to be good money (up to $5 USD) he'd sing a very different tune. It might not be a better one, but it would be different.

He won't suffer any actual consequences. Franklin D. Roosevelt said the only thing to fear is fear itself.

We are going to lose our democracy because we are too afraid of what he and his nutcases might do.

Guess what? They're going to find an excuse to do what they want to do no matter what our side does. We can't let the fear stop us from trying to stop him and them before it's too late.

If we give up without out a fight they win anyway.

I want no part of a "we" that includes those people. I don't want to be group-punished for their cowardice.

Other than work for Trump's electoral defeat, which I'm certainly doing and will continue to do, I don't personally have the power to force judges and prosecutors and law enforcement agencies to stop treating Trump with kid gloves.

Instead he should revoke Trump's bail and then jail until the trial is concluded. Then Trump will have some time served to go against his sentence.

He has a $200,000 bond in Georgia for the Fani Willis/Judge Mcaffey RICO case, with multiple defendants out on bail.
He has an $175 million (?) Appellate bond in front of J. Engoron, which just got rejected.
He has an $86 million (?) Appellate bond posted in the EJ Carroll case.
I don't know why he doesn't have a bond in the docs case in Florida.

So, I don't think that he has any detriment other than to have to come to Court on a Show Cause why he shouldn't be held in contempt. He has probably been told that all he'll get is a fine. He doesn't care about that.

I am not quite sure if these posts actually are violations of the new gag order. He has been ordered not to use third parties, sure, but these are not the caliber of approving of kidnapping and killing Biden. Someone has told him that these are okay. Also, are these predating the new order?

I think he should be hauled in and kept waiting all damned day. Two can play this game, but I think that DA Bragg has to file something and ask the Judge to hold him in contempt. Otherwise, we'll just keep complaining.

Eleven days to go. Get him, DA Bragg!

If you've been arrested (Trump has) and are awaiting trial for a crime (Trump is), then you're either locked up or out on bail. That bail will have conditions, and it can be revoked if those conditions are violated.

I'd like to read it, because I could not find it.

"What the Bail Law Does. New York's bail law currently eliminates money bail for most misdemeanors and nonviolent felonies. Those accused of these crimes are either freed without restrictions while their case plays out, or released under certain conditions like electronic monitoring."

Has this guy got an ankle bracelet we don't know about? One with a really long range? Because, I don't think this guy has a bond on him. I do think that there might be some self evident restrictions like, don't commit crimes, but I don't think he has anything in writing. I think when this case started, it was a misdemeanor, but was elevated when it became apparent that it could be a felony. So, maybe they should revisit the issue of bail! Get Bragg to motion for him to be brought in for bail purposes. Then watch him squirm to come up with that cash.

...but I'd guess that conditions like not breaking court orders about making threats would apply to anyone out on bail, even if it's so rare to have a case like Trump. I'd take "freed without restrictions" to mean "freed without restrictions, so long as you abide by the law and court orders".

If New York's bail laws omit that, then New York has fucked up.

Any time I read his ravings I just stare and shake my head. Most law abiding citizens, court personnel (judges/prosecutors) and other people that care about our country are "biased" against those that are operating outside our rule of law, mores, and decency. Shouldn't they be biased against them? I am.

Trump has a great talent (and it kills me to give him credit for anything) of manipulating and coming out on top. I remember during so many things hearing someone say: "If we do that it will play right into his hands". But, everything is playing right into his hands because he makes it so. Or, coerces it so. Or, just declares it so.

Why can't he just go away....
