Loose Cannon has given...

..Jack Smith an open door to appeal her lack of decision on the PRA issue.

I got this from MSNBC's Lisa Rubin minutes ago as she discussed Cannon's refusal to rule on the PRA defense for Trump. In her statement, Cannon said Smith could seek whatever appellate action he desires.

She's (opinion) looking for an out and Smith may make it available...

She will never be respected or trusted by non magas.

She is smart to get off the case and try to salvage her legal career.

If she does what he wants, a reelected Trump will likely nominate her to a seat on a Circuit Court or the Supreme Court, either of which is also a lifetime appointment. Her legal career is secure.

Nobody is going to say, “Judge, you’re a laughingstock. I don’t want you as my judge.”

I think that's what she is doing.

I'm still waiting for legal experts to address that potentiality.

Once the jury is convened, and Cannon gives her jury instruction the case is over.
And Trump cannot be tried again.

Court of Appeals agree there is a basis for her recusal or removal. It’s not that she’s inexperienced. It’s not that she rules slowly. It’s that she is jeopardizing justice and not following the law.

That there are no grounds in the order itself to appeal. She sided with him except on some small points of language which he couldn't appeal.

The only thing he could do is file t he writ of mandamus, which is basically suing her to do her job and rule conclusively.

But he didn't think Smith would do that yet. Fwiw.

They are talking about what a flapping jaw on a cable news show said about what jack would do.

They don't know jack.

Neither do I. I was just offering a different jaw flappers opinion.

Delay enough to push this past the election.

If she's removed, a new judge will require months to start all over again.

She can do whatever incompetent BS she can think of, because it will delay, delay, delay delay. It's Doturds MO and she's FAITHFULLY following it.....

Does anyone doubt he'd threaten her and/or her family?

I know everyone seems to think she's totally in with the sack of crap, but he brazenly repeatedly publicly threatens everyone holding him accountable, she's got to know if she goes against him, SHE'S NEXT.

Maybe she's reaching out for a lifeline.
